Lauren Privette, Esq.

Lauren is an experienced family law attorney serving clients throughout Western North Carolina. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Lauren moved to North Carolina to attend law school and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the people and communities of the region. She has since made the mountains of Western North Carolina her home, while still proudly cheering on her Kentucky Wildcats.

Before attending law school, Lauren spent several years with the Clark County, Indiana Prosecutor’s Office, where she served as both a victims’ advocate and a paralegal. In those roles, she worked closely with individuals facing difficult and emotionally charged circumstances, an experience that deeply shaped her compassionate, client-focused approach to family law.

Lauren is dedicated to supporting her community and providing knowledgeable, steady guidance to individuals and families navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. She brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset to every case, along with a strong commitment to learning, problem-solving, and empowering clients to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her wife, their dogs, and family, exploring local trails, sipping coffee along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and cruising mountain roads in her ’94 Jeep Wrangler.
