Family law issues such as child custody, child support, alimony, post separation support, equitable distribution, attorney’s fees and absolute divorce are typically heard on the second floor of the Henderson County Courthouse. To reach these courtrooms, you travel through security at the north side of the building (not the front door as that has no public access) and head for the elevators immediately outside of security. Once on the second floor, there are four different courtrooms. All of the family law judges generally utilize two of these courtrooms, which are to the right when you exit the elevator. Keep in mind that many court events and even hearings may occur at the same time, so check with your attorney or look up your case in the e-filing system to confirm your information before heading to court.

Parking for the Henderson County Courthouse can be found immediately adjacent to the courthouse and overflow parking can be found in the lot on the corner of N. Grove Street and 4th Ave, East.
